There are times when I want to experiment with something new, but the cost and time required to create from scratch are prohibitive. In such cases, I purchase pre-constructed garments to add variety and choice to the line. I find these items in different ways and feel drawn to them when I believe they will be a great addition to the collection. It is important to distinguish between the artistry of items I create from pure imagination and the artistry of dyeing pre-existing clothing. This distinction will also be reflected in the pricing.
